Women's

Janean Cuffee

Cuffee scored 28 of her season-high 37 points in the second half as NYU expanded its lead over St. John Fisher. Cuffee shot 8-of-13 from the field in the second half and finished a perfect 11-of-11 from the foul line, including six in the last 39 seconds to hold off the Cardinals. Her seven assists in the contest were also a season high. Cuffee shot 50% from the floor on the week. 

Autumn Kalis

Kalis scored a career-high 27 points against Illinois Wesleyan, averaging 26 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  She shot 55% from the floor, including 50% from behind the arc.

Kaylee Murphy

Murphy averaged 17 points, 20 rebounds, and seven blocks as UC-Santa Cruz went 2-0 this week. She had career highs of 20 points, 22 rebounds, and six blocks plus two steals as UCSC edged Puget Sound 68-67 on Friday. The 22 rebounds was third-highest single game mark in school history. On Sunday she had another double-double as the Banana Slugs rolled over Howard Payne. 

Taite Anderson
Anderson averaged 21 points and nine rebounds this past week, helping Bethel to wins over Carleton and Macalester. She was 11-of-15 with a game-high 27 points against Carleton before scoring 19 points in 13 minutes on 8-of-10 shooting at Macalester. The senior forward has helped Bethel to a 7-0 start which is the best in program history.

Amina Wiley

Wiley averaged a team-high 25 points and 25 rebounds per game last week as the Mariners went 2-0 in non-conference road games. She posted a career-high 30 points to go with 17 boards in a two-point victory at Lasell College. She then put up 20 points and a career-best 32 rebounds in a 12-point win at Anna Maria College. The 32 rebounds, in addition to breaking the school record, are the most in a single NCAA game this season at any level. 

 

Men's

Shion Darby
Darby helped the Anchormen improve to 8-1 overall and 2-0 in the Little East by shooting 56 percent from the field (24-for-41) and averaging 37 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two blocks per game. He had 31 points, seven boards, and five assists in a 92-69 win over UMass Dartmouth. He also had 42 points, three boards, and three assists in a 91-79 win over Plymouth State.

Jason Ellis
Ellis averaged 31 points over two games, shooting 59% from the floor, including 8-14 from the three point line and a 3.0 assist to turnover ratio. He scored 51 points to lead undefeated No. 7 Marietta to a 104-98 victory over conference rival John Carroll. 

Austin Grunder

Grunder averaged 28 points, 18 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks per game as Cortland split its opening two SUNYAC games. He scored 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting, grabbed 17 rebounds, and blocked two shots in a 75-66 win at Geneseo, Friday. The following afternoon he scored 29 points (10-20 FG, 9-10 FT), pulled down 18 rebounds, handed out four assists, and added three steals in an 86-73 loss at Brockport. Grunder currently leads the nation in rebounding.

Lucas Martin
Martin recorded two double-doubles in two straight career performances as the Sea Gulls split a pair of games on the week. Martin notched career-highs in points and rebounds with 25 points and 11 rebounds in Salisbury's 96-92 overtime win over Cabrini. Martin went 9-of-12 shooting and added three blocks and a steal. On Sunday against Wesley, Martin beat his career-high for a second time this week with a game-high 31 points and 14 rebounds in a 101-99 overtime loss.

Frank Oftring
Oftring recorded three double-doubles and averaged 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists while shooting 67% from the floor in a 3-0 week for Babson. He scored a career-high 30 points on 12-of-17 shooting in an 87-82 over then No. 14 Amherst and finished with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists to earn New England Big 4 Challenge MVP honors as the Beavers defeated Tufts, 99-85, in Sunday's championship game.
