Women's
Lucy Barrett
Barrett sparked the Owls to a pair of wins, over No. 25 and previously unbeaten Middlebury, and a key MASCAC road win over Bridgewater State by averaging 28 points per game on the week. She scored a game-high 31 points on 9-18 shooting from the floor and a perfect 10-10 at the line to propel the Owls past Middlebury. She finished 3-6 from three point ranges and grabbed eight rebounds and four steals. Against Bridgewater, Barrett conected on 10-19 shots from the floor and 3-7 from downtown while scoring a game-high 24 points.
Antanasia Chambers
Chambers averaged 19 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals per game over three contests as the Roos went 2-1 including a perfect 2-0 in conference play. She opened the week with a game-high 22 points to go with six assists, four rebounds and two steals in a last second, 60-59 loss to Morrisville State. She followed that up with 17 points, six assists, five steals and added eight rebounds in a 53-40 win at Maine Presque Isle on Friday. Chambers closed out a busy week with 18 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and three steals in a 75-63 win v. the Owls to complete the sweep.
Nicole Conley
Conley had another big week as Union swept two Liberty League games, averaging 16 points, nine rebounds, six blocks, and three steals per game in wins over Clarkson and St. Lawrence. The senior scored 10 of her 19 points in the fourth quarter and added 10 boards and a career-best seven blocks in Friday's 56-40 win over Clarkson. Then on Saturday against St. Lawrence, she added 13 points, eight rebounds, five blocks, and four steals in a 55-53 win, including a block on the potential go-ahead three-pointer in the final seconds.
Francesca Buchanan
Buchanan recorded consecutive double-doubles in two conference wins. She averaged 24 points and 12 rebounds per game, shooting 70% from the floor. Buchanan scored half of Hope's points in a big win at rival Calvin, which is, of course, nearly all that matters in Holland, MI.
Miracle Walters
Walters led the Quakers to home wins over nationally ranked Emory & Henry and ODAC leader Randolph-Macon, which put Guilford in sole possession atop the league standings. She averaged 22 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals per game, shooting over 69% from the floor and played all but two minutes.
Men's
Ian Meleikis
Mileikis averaged 26 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals per game while shooting 75% (30-40) from the field and 76.2% (16-21) from the FT line in three games for the Monks. The senior captain became the fourth player in team history - and first since 2006 - to record a triple-double when he tallied 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists in a comeback victory over University of Saint Joseph on Saturday.
Booker Coplin
Coplin averaged 30 points and 10 rebounds in three games last week. His week was punctuated by a triple-overtime game against nationally-ranked St. Thomas in which he posted 34 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists, and four blocked shots. It was his fourth game this season scoring 30-plus points, while the 15 rebounds and eight assists both tie a season-best.
Montaque Wright
Wright averaged 22 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, and five steals per game while shooting 60% from three (6-10) and 8-8 at the free throw line. He posted the second triple-double in Mustang basketball history with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists while recording four steals in an 80-66 win against Messiah on Wednesday. Wright finished with 19 points, six assists, five steals, and five rebounds in a 101-71 win against Widener Saturday. Had a 4-1 assist/turnover ratio for the week, finishing with 16 assists and four turnovers.
Ty Nichols
Nichols was unstoppable last week as the Owls went 2-1. The senior scored 36 points on 14-for-19 shoot from the field against Plymouth State, with eight rebounds, and six steals, then added 24 points and seven assists in a win over Castleton. He saved his best for last, netting 40 points with eight boards against Eastern Conn.
Elijah Hirsh
Hirsh led the Berry College men's basketball team to a pair of huge Southern Athletic Association (SAA) victories over Sewanee and Centre this weekend, pushing the Vikings to first place in the SAA standings. In two games, Hirsh averaged a double-double with 20 points per game and 11 rebounds. He also shot 52% from the field, 57% from three, along with four assists and four blocks per contest.
