Women's
Katelyn Haralamos
Haralamos averaged 13.7 points and 4.7 rebounds, including five
assists in a win against Defiance and 21 points in an upset of
Mount Union.
Kayla Waskow
Waskow led the Kohawks to a 2-0 record at the D3hoops.com Classic
in Las Vegas, as she was named the MVP of the classic. She set a
school record in the win over La Verne by shooting 90.9 percent
from the field. Waskow averaged 16.0 points and 10.3 rebounds in
three games.
Lindsey Foster
Foster averaged 18.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in three games,
including splitting two at the D3hoops.com Classic. She shot
21-for-37 from the floor in the Leopards' new up-tempo offense,
including nine steals in three games.
Julia Antonelli
Antonelli averaged 23.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in two games. In
all, she hit a solid 20-of-30 shots from the floor and also added
two assists and three steals. She started the tournament with a
career-high 25 points and 12 rebounds against MCLA and followed
that with 22 points and 13 rebounds against Eastern.
Melissa Gilkey
Gilkey averaged 22.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game to lead No. 5
Washington U. to a pair of non-conference wins. She notched her
third double-double of the season with 20 points and 11 rebounds to
lead the Bears to a 77-57 win at Webster Dec. 29. Gilkey followed
that performance with a career-high 25 points and eight rebounds on
9-of-14 FG shooting in Washington U.'s 82-73 win over Southwestern
Dec. 30.
Men's
Alex Zurn
Zurn averaged 20.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting
19-for-20 at the foul line en route to earning MVP honors at the
York (Pa.) Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. He posted 19 points and
seven rebounds in a 71-48 win over Farmingdale State, then poured
in 22 points to go with six rebounds while shooting 13-for-14 at
the charity stripe in a 74-64 win over Grove City.
Colton Hunt
Hunt helped the WildCats stay undefeated with two wins. Hunt
averaged 26 points per game this week, shooting 50 percent from the
floor, including 41.2 percent from 3-point range. He also grabbed
6.5 rebounds and posted just four turnovers despite playing 35.5
minutes per contest.
Phil Hogan
Hogan averaged 42.0 points in two games, including a 55-point
outburst in a 72-68 win at La Verne. He also scored 29 in a loss to
Ohio Wesleyan. Hogan shot 30-for-54 from the floor for the week,
8-for-16 from 3-point range and 16-for-18 from the line. He added
eight rebounds and six assists in the two games.
Tra Benefield
Benefield averaged 21.0 points in three wins for the Captains,
including 30 on 12-for-16 shooting in a win against Bridgewater
(Va.). Benefield averaged 7.3 rebounds, while shooting 56.8 percent
from the floor and 11-for-12 from the foul line.
Landon Gamble
Gamble was named to the All-Tournament team at the D3hoops.com
Classic, averaging 17.5 points and 9.5 rebounds for the No. 3
Cardinals, including 17 points and 12 rebounds in a 67-57 win
against No. 10 Ramapo.
