Men
Kent Raymond
Raymond scored 44 points in a 93-84 win at Illinois Wesleyan, the most points by a Wheaton player since 1970. He made six 3-pointers and all 20 of his free throw attempts in the win. On the week, Raymond averaged 30.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists, while hitting 26-of-26 from the charity stripe.
Justin Walters
Walters, a freshman point guard, averaged 19 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 4.7 steals during a 1-2 week for Purchase. He shot 20-of-34 (58.8%) from the floor, 8-of-15 (53.3%) from behind the arc, and 9-of-11 (81.8%) from the foul line.
Chad McGowan
McGowan averaged 28.7 points and 8.3 rebounds during a 2-1 week for York (Pa.). He made 22-of-27 (81.5%) from the free throw line.
Drew Cohen
Cohen averaged 24 points, 10 rebounds, 5.5 blocks, and four assists in two NESCAC victories over Bates and Tufts. He nearly had a quadruple-double vs. Tufts, recording 25 points, 11 rebounds, eight blocks, and seven assists.
Ben Strong
Strong led the Quakers to a 3-0 week by averaging 26.3 points, 10.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Against Bridgewater, he made 14-of-15 from the field. On the week, Strong shot 31-of-49 (63.3%) from the floor and 17-of-20 (85%) from the foul line.
Women's
Alva Jeffreys
Jeffreys scored 44 points and recorded eight steals in the Pequots' 87-78 win over Becker. Prior to that performance, she had 25 points in a win over Lyndon State. Jeffreys made 40.9-percent of her 3-point attempts (9-for-22).
Courtney Cunningham
Cunningham began the week getting injured during the Montclair State game, being questionable the next game. She not only played, but scored 39 points, pulled down 10 rebounds, and handed out six assists against Delaware Valley. Cunningham led Drew back from a 17-point deficit before losing in overtime.
Lacey Kennedy
Kennedy became the American Southwest Conference's all-time leading scorer in wins over Louisiana College and Ozarks to push her total to 1,843. She averaged 30 points, 37 rebounds and 2.5 assists on the 2-0 week.
Staci Humphrey
Humphrey had two of the more impressive back-to-back statistical performances in Division III this season. She had a triple-double in a win against N.C. Wesleyan, finishing with 40 points, 15 rebounds, 11 assists, and five steals. Against Ferrum, she just missed another triple-double with 33 points, 12 assists, eight rebounds, and four steals. She made 17-of-24 field goals against N.C. Wesleyan, while hitting all 10 free throw attempts against Ferrum.
Tamika Curtis
Curtis averaged 24.7 points, 15 rebounds, five blocks, three assists, and three steals during a 2-1 week for Benedictine. Against league-leader Concordia (Wis.), she finished with 34 points and seven blocked shots. Curtis pulled down an impressive 17 defensive rebounds against Lakeland, then had another 16 defensive rebounds – while shooting 8-of-8 from the floor – against Wisconsin Lutheran.
