Men's
Justin Call
Call averaged 33.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.5 steals for the Wasps of Emory & Henry. He connected on 58 percent of his shots from the field, 44 percent from behind the arc and 92 percent from the charity stripe.
Patrick McGowan
McGowan hit his first 14 shots in a win against Husson, nailing nine of nine from 3-point range, one shy of the Division III record of 10 in a row. Averaging 25 points, McGowan shot 61 percent from the field and 78 percent from outside for Colby’s three games last week.
Trevor Deeter
Deeter notched his second double-double in three games, scoring 19 points and pulling down 10 rebounds, as Albright defeated Wilkes. He followed that effort with a career-high 31 points in an 85-65 win against Dickinson. For the week, Deeter clipped 25 points and 8.0 boards per contest.
Chris Martin
Chris Martin continued his outstanding offensive production in the Bluejays’ second game of the season, an 84-66 win over Maryville (Mo.). He scored over 20 points for the second game in a row, knocking down 26, while finishing with seven rebounds, seven assists and five steals in Elmhurst’s only contest of the week.
Scott Weber
Weber averaged 20.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in victories over defending NAIA Division I champion Northwestern (Iowa) and the 2003 Division III national runner-up squad from Gustavus Adolphus. He shot 58.3 percent from the floor and 80 percent from the free throw line.
Women's
Trisha Tofany
Tofany was a jack-of-all-trades for St. John Fisher. The senior was consistent on all fronts, tallying 13.2 points, 9.3 assists, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.6 steals over three games for Cardinals.
Kelly Heil
Kelly scored six of her game-high 28 points during the final 15 seconds to lead Ohio Wesleyan over Case Western Reserve. With the Bishops trailing, 73-71, in the final seconds, Heil stole the ball and headed downcourt. She hit the lay-in to tie the game and the Spartans were called for an intentional foul on the play. Heil hit one free throw to put OWU ahead and converted a 3-point play on the ensuing possession to seal the outcome.
Stephanie Siebert
A senior forward for Emory, Seibert averaged a double-double, scoring 13.6 points and gathering 11 rebounds in three games for the Eagles. Her numbers helped Emory’s cause in victories over Wesleyan (Ga.) and Centre.
Amy Argetsinger
Argetsinger scored a career-high 25 in a 15-point win over 20th-ranked Mount St. Mary and established another career high with 26 in 12-point win at Maryville (Tenn.) the next day. The junior nailed 20 of 31 shots from the field in DePauw’s successful week.
Selena Theisen
In her first few collegiate games, the freshman from Augsburg is clicking away, hitting 24.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in last week’s two tough losses. Theisen added two blocks in each of the games and was 9-for-11 from the charity stripe.
