March 8, 2025 No. 8/12 Women's Basketball Fall to No. 5/6 Gustavus in the Second Round SAINT PETER, Minn. – No. 8/12 women's basketball fell to No. 5/6 Gustavus College 56-50 in the second round of the Division III Championships on Saturday, Mar. 8. The Knights close the 2024-25 season with an overall record of 26-3.
March 7, 2025 Round 1 women: State of shock Lower seeds Montclair State and SUNY Geneseo upset nationally ranked foes while Gustavus Adolphus and Trine prevailed in overtime, Wartburg won a nailbiter, and the NESCAC and WIAC each advanced four teams through the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division III women’s basketball tournament.
March 7, 2025 No. 8/12 Knights Survive and Advance With a 57-56 Win Over UW-Stevens Point SAINT PETER, Minn. – No. 8/12 women's basketball survived and advanced after a late comeback lifted the Knights over the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point 57-56 in the first round of the Division III Championship tournament on Friday, Mar. 7. The Knights advance to face the winner of No. 5/6 Gustavus vs Wisconsin Lutheran tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. in Saint Peter.
March 1, 2025 Saturday: Knights alright for dancing Three sets of Knights upset top-seeded favorites on the road and claimed automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament, while the Knights of Wartburg and Southern Virginia completed their sweep through conference play and into the Big Dance. Plus, three teams punched their first ever ticket to the Big Dance.
January 22, 2025 Wednesday women: Hold the high ground Wartburg, Baldwin Wallace, and UW-Oshkosh defended their positions atop their conferences by beating title contenders on Wednesday night, while Ohio Wesleyan seized first place in the NCAC and TCNJ created a three-way tie for first in the NJAC.
