SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Down by 16 points five minutes into the game, the Union College men's basketball team outscored Vassar College by 30 points the rest of the way as the Dutchmen handed the Brewers their first Liberty League loss of the year with an impressive 79-65 victory on Tuesday night at Viniar Athletic Center.
UTICA, N.Y. – Senior Temi George scored a game-high 17 points to lead head coach Chris Murphy '06 to his 100th victory as the helm of the Union College men's basketball team with a 78-58 non-conference victory at SUNY Poly on Saturday afternoon.
No. 2 UW-Oshkosh topped No. 3 North Central (Ill.) for its second straight road win over a ranked foe and Union's Mike Concannon blasted No. 25 St. John Fisher. On the women's side Illinois Wesleyan tripped No. 18 Chicago and Southern Virginia got a big game from a different name in its opener.

SCHENECTADY, NY -- Riley Naclerio scored 32 points with 14 rebonds to lead St. Lawrence University to a 91-85 win over host Union College in a Liberty League Men's Basketball Semifinal Game Wednesday night at the Viniar Athletic Center. The Saints (14-11) now play at Skidmore for the league championship Saturday while the Dutchmen wrap up the 2015-16 season with a record of 13-12.
SCHENECTADY, NY -- Senior William Hython scored 22 points with a game high 14 rebounds and Wade McNamara scored 21 points for the Union College men's basketball team in a 86-79 Senior Day triumph over the Rochester Institute of Technology Sunday. The win, along with victories by Skidmore and Vassar, clinched a home game for #2 seed Union. The Dutchmen will host #3 seed St. Lawrence Wednesday in a Liberty League Semifinal Game at a time to be announced.

The Dutchmen won their fifth straight to improve to 8-5 in the league (tied with St. Lawrence and Skidmore for first) and 11-10 overall while the Brewers are now 7-6 in league play (tied with RIT for second) and 11-11 for the season.

The Saints are now 4-3 in Liberty League play and 8-7 overall, while the Dutchmen fell to 4-5 in the league and 6-10 overall.
