    SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Down by 16 points five minutes into the game, the Union College men's basketball team outscored Vassar College by 30 points the rest of the way as the Dutchmen handed the Brewers their first Liberty League loss of the year with an impressive 79-65 victory on Tuesday night at Viniar Athletic Center.

    UTICA, N.Y. – Senior Temi George scored a game-high 17 points to lead head coach Chris Murphy '06 to his 100th victory as the helm of the Union College men's basketball team with a 78-58 non-conference victory at SUNY Poly on Saturday afternoon.

    No. 2 UW-Oshkosh topped No. 3 North Central (Ill.) for its second straight road win over a ranked foe and Union's Mike Concannon blasted No. 25 St. John Fisher. On the women's side Illinois Wesleyan tripped No. 18 Chicago and Southern Virginia got a big game from a different name in its opener.

    SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Junior Jackson Mannix netted a team-high 23 points to earn Most Valuable Player honors as the Union College men's basketball team captured the 34th annual Sig Makofski Invitational title with a 73-67 win over Westfield State University in a hard-fought battle on Sunday afternoon at Viniar Athletic Center.

    SCHENECTADY, NY -- Riley Naclerio scored 32 points with 14 rebonds to lead St. Lawrence University to a 91-85 win over host Union College in a Liberty League Men's Basketball Semifinal Game Wednesday night at the Viniar Athletic Center. The Saints (14-11) now play at Skidmore for the league championship Saturday while the Dutchmen wrap up the 2015-16 season with a record of 13-12.
  • Union downs RIT, 86-79 to clinch home playoff berth

    SCHENECTADY, NY -- Senior William Hython scored 22 points with a game high 14 rebounds and Wade McNamara scored 21 points for the Union College men's basketball team in a 86-79 Senior Day triumph over the Rochester Institute of Technology Sunday. The win, along with victories by Skidmore and Vassar, clinched a home game for #2 seed Union. The Dutchmen will host #3 seed St. Lawrence Wednesday in a Liberty League Semifinal Game at a time to be announced.

    SCHENECTADY, NY -- Junior guard Deshon Burgess scored his 1,000th career point and the Union College men's basketball team moved into a first place tie in the Liberty League with a 74-48 home victory over Vassar College at the Viniar Athletic Center Friday night. The Dutchmen won their fifth straight to improve to 8-5 in the league (tied with St. Lawrence and Skidmore for first) and 11-10 overall while the Brewers are now 7-6 in league play (tied with RIT for second) and 11-11 for the season.

    SCHENECTADY, NY -- Deshon Burgess scored a game high 16 points with a team high six rebounds and Wade McNamara added 12 points as the Union College men's basketball team defeated Hobart College, 74-65 in a Liberty League game at the Viniar Athletic Center Tuesday night.

    SCHENECTADY, NY -- Kyle Kobis and Kyle Edwards scored 17 points each as the St. Lawrence University men's basketball team defeated Union College, 79-70 at the Viniar Athletic Center Saturday. The Saints are now 4-3 in Liberty League play and 8-7 overall, while the Dutchmen fell to 4-5 in the league and 6-10 overall.

    SCHENECTADY, NY -- William Hython had 16 rebounds, one shy of his career high, but the Union College men's basketball team lost a Liberty League game to Skidmore College, 73-64 at the Viniar Athletic Center Saturday afternoon. The Thoroughbreds are now 7-5 on the season while Union falls to 4-7. Both teams are now 2-2 in league play.

Union is 4-6 overall and 2-1 in the league while RPI is 7-5 overall and 1-2 in the league.

    SCHENECTADY, NY -- Bard College scored the final five points of the game to win 57-52 at Union in a Liberty League men's basketball game at the Viniar Athletic Center Sunday. The Raptors now stand 5-6 overall and 2-0 in the league while the Dutchmen are 3-6 overall and 1-1 in league action.

    SCHENECTADY, NY -- Deshon Burgess scored 23 points and Ryan Whelpley pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the Union College men's basketball team to a 66-57 win over Clarkson University at the Viniar Athletic Center Saturday afternoon. It was the Liberty League opener for both teams. The Dutchmen improved to 3-5 overall while the Golden Knights fell to 3-7.

    SCHENECTADY, NY -- Shane Pasquantonio scored a game high 27 points with 10 rebounds to lead Westfield State to an 85-78 non-league basketball win over host Union at the Sig Makofski Classic Saturday night. The Owls evened their early season record to 3-3 while the Dutchmen fell to 1-2.
