January 17, 2025 Men’s Basketball Outlasts Canton 79-72 in Home SUNYAC Action PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – After outscoring the Kangaroos in the first half, the Plattsburgh State men's basketball team outlasted Canton in the second half and won 79-72 in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action on Friday night at Memorial Hall. Senior guard Kevin Tabb (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Thomas Jefferson) keyed the Cardinal offense with 18 points to go with two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
January 14, 2025 Men’s Basketball Pulls Away in Second Half Against Potsdam, Winning 86-69 POTSDAM, N.Y. – With four players in double figures led by senior guard Franklin Infante (East Rockaway, N.Y. / East Rockaway) with 15 points, the Plattsburgh State men's basketball team pulls away in the second half to beat Potsdam 86-69 on Tuesday night. Infante also had two rebounds, two steals, an assist, and a block.
January 11, 2025 Men’s Basketball Comes Up Just Short Against Buffalo State, Falling 78-75 BUFFALO, N.Y. – After trailing by as many as 11 points in the second half, the Plattsburgh State men's basketball team came within two points in the final minutes but couldn't score the tying basket and eventually fell 78-75 to Buffalo State on the road in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action. First-year guard/forward Nate Pondexter Jr. (Washington, D.C. / Archbishop Carroll) led the Cardinal offense with 18 points, eight rebounds, three steals, a block, and a steal in an all-around performance. 
January 10, 2025 Pondexter Jr. Scores Career-High 23 as Men’s Basketball Drops SUNYAC Road Contest Against Fredonia FREDONIA, N.Y. – Despite a career-high 23 points from first-year guard/forward Nate Pondexter Jr. (Washington, D.C. / Archbishop Carroll), the Plattsburgh State men's basketball team dropped a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) contest against Fredonia, falling 90-82 on Friday night. Pondexter Jr. led all players in points with his new career-high and also picked up four rebounds and three assists on the night.
January 4, 2025 Men’s Basketball Rolls Pass VTSU-Johnson, Winning 97-72 PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – After going into halftime with a 48-27 lead, the Plattsburgh State men's basketball team showed no signs of slowing down in their 97-72 victory over non-conference opponent Vermont State University (VTSU) Johnson on Saturday evening. Senior guard/forward Ikechukwu Ezike (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Paul Robeson) led the offensive charge with 21 points to go with six rebounds, two blocks, and two steals.
December 7, 2024 Men’s Basketball Falls to Cortland 68-67 in Road SUNYAC Matchup CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's basketball team fell to Cortland in a nail-biting State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) matchup at Whitney T. Corey '43 Gymnasium on Saturday evening. After two free throws put the Cardinals up by four late in the second half, Cortland finished the second half with five straight points that ended with a three-pointer at the buzzer, securing the Red Dragons the 64-63 win.
