Lance Westberg (River Falls, Wis./River Falls) scored more than 20 points for the second straight game and the Eagles went 13-24 from the behind the three-point line to help NWC notch its 19th win of the season.

81-52 win over Northland gives NWC 24th UMAC Reg. Season ChampionshipFebruary 15, 2013ASHLAND, Wis. – The Northwestern College (Minn.) men's basketball team used a better-than-50 percent mark from the field to defeat Northland College 81-52 to win the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) regular season championship outright on Friday night. The victory, which improves the Eagles to an 18-6 overall record for the 2012-2013 season (11-2 UMAC), gives NWC the No. 1 seed in next week's conference tournament.
