January 8, 2025 Griffins Drop Conference Opener Against Pacers Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (1/3/2025) - Gwynedd Mercy University (4-10, 0-1 AEC) played their first Atlantic East Conference (AEC) opponent of the 2024-25 season as the team welcomed Marywood University (10-7, 1-1 AEC) to the Griffin Complex for a Wednesday night showdown. Both teams exchanged blows in the first 30 minutes of play with the game knotted at 43 going into the fourth quarter. The Griffins would be outscored by nine in the fourth (20-11) and fall to Marywood 63-54 suffering their first conference loss of the season. Both freshman guard Kailyn Bell (Ridley Park, Pa.) and junior forward captain Erin Eisenhart (Bethlehem, Pa.) secured a team-high 13 points in the contest. The former tallied a rebound, three assists, one block, and one steal while the latter contributed with five rebounds, an assist, and a steal.
January 3, 2025 Red and Gold Ring In The New Year Hosting Golden Flyers Gwynedd Valley, Pa. - (1/3/2025) - Gwynedd Mercy University (4-9) kicked off the 2025 portion of their schedule with a matchup against Nazareth University (7-3) for the second time in program history. The Griffins and Golden Flyers last faced off on December 28, 2006, when the Red and Gold took home a 70-60 victory. Early in the contest, Gwynedd Mercy caught fire all over the floor shooting 6-of-11 from the field (55%) and 3-of-5 (60%) from three. The Griffins took a 39-35 lead going into the half. Gwynedd Mercy could not keep the lead as Nazareth would go on to a 28-13 fourth-quarter advantage and secure a 78-62 victory. Senior forward captain Alexis Eagan (Drexel Hill, Pa.) finished with a team-high 15 points, four rebounds, and two steals.
February 22, 2023 #2 Griffins Season Comes To An End To #3 Cavaliers Gwynedd Valley, Pa. (2/22/2023) - #2 Gwynedd Mercy University (15-11) played host to #3 Cabrini University (14-13). Eight lead changes occurred throughout the game, but in the end, the Cavaliers walked away with the 72-68 victory over the Griffins. Senior forward Haley Crossley (Philadelphia, Pa.) gave Cabrini University all they could handle in her final collegiate game. Crossley finished 7-16 from the field with 19 points, seven rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and three steals.

February 15, 2023 Griffins Cap Off Final Home Game and Senior Night With A Win Gwynedd Mercy, Pa. - (2/1/2023) Gwynedd Mercy University (14-10, 7-4) hosted their final home game of the regular season against Centenary University (New. Jersey) (9-15, 0-11). It was also Senior Night where seniors Elise Sylvester (Pottstown, Pa.) Cayla Sharkey (Lansadle, Pa.) Haley Crossley (Philadelphia, Pa.) and Kelly Owens (Schwenksville, Pa) were all honored before the game. The Griffins dominated the first half leading 39-12 and never looked back as they took a decisive 83-52 victory over the Cyclones. Sylvester finished with a game-high 27 points on 9-16 from the field. Sylvester also finished with four rebounds, four assists, and one steal. 
February 11, 2023 Sylvester's Career Performance Helps Sweep Season Series Against The Knights Gwynedd Mercy, Pa. - (2/1/2023) The Gwynedd Mercy University Griffins (13-10, 6-4) played host to the Neumann University Knights (12-11, 5-5) and after a back and forth second half the Griffins were narrowly able to escape the Knights with a final score 70-67. Senior guard Elise Sylvester (Pottstown, Pa.) had a career night on January 11th against Marymount University where she finished with 24 points. Today Sylvester had a new career-high with 31 points. She also finished with four rebounds and three steals.
