Shortly after announcing its upcoming move to the ODAC, Ferrum announced that one of the ODAC's best players in recent history will be its new head men's basketball coach. Tyler Sanborn, who was a two-time All-American for Guilford, was announced as the choice this week.
The Old Dominion Athletic Conference needed a new member to keep its AQ in football and found one that will join the Conference in all sports. Ferrum will move from the USA South Athletic Conference in 2018-19.
