The Thomas More women handled Hope at DeVos Fieldhouse and the St. Thomas men pulled away from UW-Stevens Point in St. Paul in the last full Saturday of action before the holiday break.

No. 4 Thomas More shot 61 percent in the first half and rolled up a big lead on its way to a 81-61 victory over No. 2 Hope at the Flying Dutch's pre-holiday tournament. The Saints (13-0) never trailed and held Hope to 4-for-20 shooting in the first quarter. Thomas More also outrebounded the Flying Dutch (7-1) by 18 as Madison Temple flirted with a triple double (15 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists) and Shelby Rupp notched 12 points and 13 rebounds. Thomas More broke its own record for the largest margin of victory by an opponent at DeVos Fieldhouse, which the Saints set with a 15-point win in the NCAA Tournament last season. The Saints have double-digit margins of victory over the teams currently ranked Nos. 2, 8 and 19 in the Top 25.
After a slow start, No. 6 Scranton pulled away from Ithaca for a 65-53 win at home in its Poinsettia Classic. The Lady Royals (8-0) trailed 11-10 after one period but outscored the Bombers (7-2) 40-25 over the next two quarters. Sofia Recupero scored a career-high 22 points for Scranton.
No. 14 Illinois Wesleyan stayed a half-game in front of Wheaton (Ill.) in the early CCIW race with an 86-77 win at home over Carroll. The Thunder took care of business with a 78-54 victory with Hannah Frazier scoring 22 points for Wheaton.
Outside the Top 25, Muhlenberg stymied its Lehigh Valley rival Moravian 57-53 and pushed its record to 9-0. Tara Szawaluk scored 23 points for the Mules who have only given up 50+ points twice this year.
Kayla Kline banked in a three-pointer at the buzzer to complete Lycoming's rally past Widener, 66-65. Lycoming pulled even with the Pride three times during the fourth quarter, but didn't take the lead until the final shot.

St. Thomas won its eighth consecutive game and held UW-Stevens Point to 3-for-20 shooting from 3-point range as the Tommies knocked off the No. 7 Pointers 73-57 in St. Paul. The teams went back and forth for the first 28 minutes of the game, with Brett Tauber giving the Pointers (6-2) a 45-44 lead with a layup with 12:07 left. That's when the Tommies (8-1) went on an 18-4 run to put the game out of reach. Michael Hannon finished with a game-high 20 points, including 6-for-6 from the line. Recap
Jordan Boyd scored a game-high 19 points with 11 rebounds and Ryan DeCanio added 17 points as No. 20 Loras rolled past Augsburg 89-66. It was just the second loss for the Auggies to go with seven wins. The Duhawks (8-1) limited Augsburg to 6-for-28 shooting from 3-point range.
Tyler Ingebrightsen tied a game-high with 27 points on 11-for-16 shooting as Carroll handed No. 15 Illinois Wesleyan its third consecutive loss, 90-83. Ingebrightsen led five scorers in double figures for the Pioneers, who improved to 3-6, 1-3 in the CCIW. Brady Rose added 27 as well for the Titans (7-3, 1-3).
North Central (Ill.) shot 9-for-17 from 3-point range in the first half to build a 23-point halftime lead and the Cardinals held on in the second half to win 69-59 at Wheaton (Ill.). Anajuwon Spencer's layup got the Thunder (8-3, 1-2 CCIW) within eight points with 5:25 remaining, but the Thunder would get no closer as the Cardinals improved to 8-1, 3-1. Thunder guard Aston Francis was limited to 20 points on 5-for-19 shooting, 3-for-12 from 3-point range.
Outside the Top 25, Ferrum picked up its first conference win as a member of the ODAC. The Panthers beat Hampden-Sydney 85-80 as four Ferrum players scored double figures, led by Rashad Reed with 19. Ferrum moved into the ODAC from the USA South Conference where the Panthers finished 4-12 last season.
Cortland hit a program-record 18 three-pointers in a 96-76 road win at SUNY-Old Westbury. Nicky Bonura had half of the triples, shooting 9-for-14 from behind the arc on his way to 34 points.
