May 10, 2019 Reber takes reins in program rebuild Alvernia hired last season's CSAC Coach of the Year to rebuild the Golden Wolves' women's basketball program.

May 9, 2015 Scranton assistant named Alvernia head coach Alvernia announced the hiring of Sheila Cook as head women's basketball coach, replacing Jen Sawyer, who was the interim coach this past season.
October 15, 2014 Alvernia promotes Sawyer to interim head coach First Jen Sawyer played for Alvernia. Then she was an assistant for the Crusaders. Now she'll be their head coach, at least on an interim basis.
