The Hiram Terriers surprised undefeated No. 4 Ohio Wesleyan 74-72 on last second shot on Saturday afternoon.

Hiram twice built 10-point leads but couldn't put Ohio Wesleyan away. The Battling Bishops pulled even on a Matt Jeske three-pointer with 3:10 left. The Terriers pulled back in front by three before Ohio Wesleyan All-American Claude Gray nailed a three with 23 seconds left to tie the game at 72. On Hiram's next possession, J.J. Woodson missed a jump shot but Kelvin Jones grabbed the offensive rebound and scored a putback with two seconds left for the victory.
Woodson posted 29 points and seven rebounds for Hiram (5-2, 2-1 NCAC). Gray had 23 points for Ohio Wesleyan (8-1, 2-1 NCAC). Recap
No. 1 Augustana completed its run of games against ranked opponents with a 70-67 win over No. 20 Washington U. The Vikings led the Bears by 10 at the break but Washington U. rallied to flip the lead in its favor 59-51 with 10 minutes left. Hunter Hill pulled Augustana even at 63 with a three-point play and then hit seven of eight free throws down the stretch. Hill finished with 20 points while Andrew Sanders tallied 13 points and 10 rebounds for Washington U. Recap
No. 5 Hope played UW-Platteville for the first time in the regular season and the Flying Dutchmen defeated the Pioneers, 79-69. No. 8 Marietta hit 27 free throws and fended off Heidelberg, 79-72. Luis Garcia had 21 points, including 10-for-10 from the free throw line.
New Jersey City ran its winning streak to seven games and stayed in first place in the NJAC with a 78-62 win at Kean. Chinwe Wosu scored a career-high 26 points for the Gothic Knights (7-2, 5-0).
Deshon Burgess hit a three-pointer from near halfcourt at the buzzer to lift Union to a dramatic 72-69 overtime win over Rochester. Burgess scored 25 points for the Dutchmen who snapped their five-game losing streak. Recap
Ryan Leiss hit a jump shot with two seconds left in overtime to cap Hardin-Simmons' wild 98-96 victory over LeTourneau. All LeTourneau's starters and four of the five Cowboy starters scored double figures. Hardin-Simmons shot 48 percent from the field (37-for-77).
Randolph outscored Juniata 45-19 in the second half and handed the Eagles their first loss, 65-53. The battle between one-loss Penn State-Behrend and one-win Penn State-Altoona was closer than their records would suggest. Behrend nipped Altoona 69-68 behind Andy Niland's 18 points and eight assists.
Colby dropped CBB rival Bates 78-74 in overtime. Ryan Jann hit a three-pointer for Colby with 10 seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime where the White Mules pulled away for the victory.
