Women's
Hannah Swider
Swider led all players with a career-high 21 points in Wheaton's 69-42 victory at Augustana to open CCIW play. She was named conference player of the week after shooting 53% from the floor, hitting three 3-point baskets, with three rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block.
Brittany Schnabel
Schnabel played 40 minutes of turnover-free basketball in Hardin-Simmons win over Mary Hardin-Baylor, a rematch of the 2020 ASC championship game. She scored 20 points with seven rebounds, five assists, three steals, and hit 57% from the 3-point line.
Kacie West
West managed to avoid COVID cancellations this week, leading Austin to two wins, shooting 50% from the floor and averaging 17 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals on the week. She had just one turnover, playing 73 of her teams' 80 minutes.
Alex Harrison
Harrison had the first 20-20 game in Louisiana College history, notching 21 points and 20 rebounds in an overtime win against University of the Ozarks. She also contributed three steals and hit three 3-point shots in the team's first game back following a 34 day layoff.
Nicole Heffington
Heffington led John Carroll to two wins on the week, averaging 18 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and three steals while shooting 69% from the floor. The 2019 OAC Player of the Year, this week marked Heffington's 14th career double-double.
Men's
Ronny Williams
Jalen Williams
Williams set career scoring highs in both wins over Rhodes this week. He averaged 24 points with four rebounds, shooting 71% from the floor and 80% from the 3-point line (hitting six threes in each game), and was a major factor on defense.
Tharon Suggs
Suggs scored 24 of his 30 points after halftime, including the game-tying layup that sent Lynchburg into overtime against Eastern Mennonite. He added a rebound and four assists while shooting 54% from the floor and 50% from the 3-point line in the win.
Seth Thomas
Thomas scored 17 points with 13 rebounds in 27 minutes as Centenary recorded a 70-67 comeback win over Schreiner on Saturday. His 13 rebounds were a new career high, breaking the mark of 12 set in a win over the same opponent the night before, when he also had 24 points. Thomas averaged 21 points, 13 rebounds, and four steals on the week.
Braedon Poole
Poole led Mount Union to two wins over Baldwin Wallace on the week, averaging 21 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, three steals, and three blocks. He shot 52% from the field and 88% from the FT line.
