The Team of the Week was in its 11th season in 2007-08, recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week.

Women

Sarah Petty
Petty helped E&H to a 2-1 week, including an upset victory against nationally ranked Randolph-Macon. In that game, she notched 25 points to go with seven assists, six rebounds, and five steals. Earlier in the week, Petty recorded 26 points and 11 rebounds in five-point loss to Virginia Wesleyan.

Chelsie Schweers
Schweers scored 35 points on 10-of-15 shooting (6-9 from behind the arc) in the Captains' 71-63 win over Methodist. She also had four rebounds and three assists. In an 86-85 win over Greensboro, Schweers scored 30 points, including two free throws with 12 seconds to left in the game at which point they were trailing by one.

Alex Porter
Porter had a career-high 25 points -- six in overtime -- as Rochester outlasted Washington U, 58-55. She added 10 rebounds and three steals. On Sunday, Porter finished with nine points, 10 rebounds, and four steals in a 54-48 win over Chicago.

Tillisha Givens
Givens posted double-doubles in both games of LC's 2-0 week. In an overtime win at LeTourneau, she put up 20 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and recorded four thefts. At East Texas Baptist, Givens had 17 points, 13 rebounds, and seven steals in the 71-59 win.

Ashley Katch
Katch recorded Simpson's first triple-double in program history, with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 blocks in a 99-76 win over Dubuque. She made all nine of her free throw attempts. Katch accomplished this feat in only 21 minutes of play.

Men

Will Dawkins
In a 2-1 week, Dawkins led the Lions with 17.7 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game.  He shot 60% from the field and 57.1% from three-point land on the week. Dawkins scored his 1,500th career point against Daniel Webster on Tuesday becoming only the sixth player in GNAC history to reach that milestone.

Jared Bailey
Against two of the top three teams in the NAC, Bailey averaged 26 points, five rebounds, five assists, and 3.5 steals per game. He shot 68% from the field and 58% from three-point range. Bailey hit the game-winning basket with five seconds left in a 78-77 victory over Concordia (Wis.), on his way to 30 points.

Edrick Montgomery
Montgomery continued his dominance on the court at home this weekend, averaging 30.5 points, 14 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks in a sweep of Rhodes and Birmingham-Southern. He knocked down a career-high 11-of-12 attempts from the free throw line en route to 31 points and 15 boards in the 93-72 win over Rhodes, and hit 6-of-7 from the stripe en route to 30 points and 13 boards in an overtime win against the Panthers.

Uche Ndubizu
Ndubizu had 20 points and 11 rebounds in Rochester's 73-70 overtime win over then No. 1-ranked Washington U. His 10-foot jumper at the buzzer forced OT, while scoring six points in the extra stanza. Ndubizu hit 8-of-12 shots from the floor. On Sunday, he hit 8-of-11 from the field, scoring 16 points, pulling down five rebounds, and dishing out five assists in Rochester's 74-65 loss to Chicago.

Doug Hammond
Hammond posted 30 points, 11 rebounds, and six blocked shots in 73-65 win vs. Vermont Tech on Wednesday, then had a triple-double of 24 points, 18 rebounds, and 12 blocks in a 74-60 win over Albany Pharmacy.
