Men
Amir Mazarei
Mazarei scored a Division III-best 57 points in Redlands 129-123 win against nationally ranked Occidental. He also added five rebounds, five assists and failed to commit a turnover. Mazarei followed this up with 45 points against Whittier, as the Bulldogs earned the 126-114 victory over the Poets.
Sean Kelly
Kelly averaged 23.5 points, 6.5 assists, six steals and five rebounds in a pair of conference games. He made 53.8 percent of his shots from the field and 62.5 percent from three-point range. In Tuesday's 75-73 loss to Coast Guard, he tallied 19 points on 7-for-10 shooting with seven assists, five rebounds and four steals. Helping the Lyons clinch the fourth seed during Saturday's 74-63 victory over Babson, Kelly posted a career-high 28 points while matching his career-best of eight steals. He also recorded eight steals, six assists and five boards.
Matt George
George averaged 22 points, six rebounds and 4.3 assists in a 2-1 week for the Gulls. In an 82-71 win over Roger Williams, he shot 8-for-9 from the floor (3-for-3 from downtime) and 10-for-11 from the charity stripe in route to 29 points. He added six rebounds and four assists. In the Gulls other victory, George finished with 21 points, eight assists and six rebounds.
Zach Johnson
Johnson averaged 26.5 points, seven rebounds and 4.5 assists in leading Carleton to a pair of victories, helping the Knights grab a share of the MIAC title, the school's first men's basketball conference title in 41 seasons. He scored a career-high 36 points, going 14-for-19 from the field and 4-for-4 from three-point range, while adding seven rebounds and five assists with no turnovers in their regular season finale against Bethel.
Jeff Kotkowski
Kotkowski lead the Hawks to a 2-1 week, recording three of the top six rebounding performances in men's Division III this season. In a 97-80 loss to Elms, he finished with 22 points (12-for-12 from the charity stripe) and 24 rebounds. Kotkowski followed that with 25 points (10-for-11 from the field) and 24 rebounds in an 88-83 win over Johnson State. He finished the week with 14 points, 27 rebounds and six assists in an 87-68 defeat of Castleton State.
Women
Natalie Moyer
Moyer set a school record with 47 points in the Bears' 84-63 win over Babson. She averaged 32.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, three assists and 2.3 steals during Coast Guard's 3-0 week. In the 47-point performance, Moyer shot 14-for-26 from the field, including a 6-of-15 from three-point range, and was 13-for-15 from the foul line.
Kim Thompson
Thompson had a career-high 38 points on Wednesday night against Briarcliffe, 26 of which came in the second half. She recorded nine points in the final 30 seconds of the second half, including a layup with just one second on the clock to push CSI into overtime where they captured a 103-97 victory. Thompson rode that performance into Sunday night's quarterfinal matchup against Medgar Evers, where she again delivered with a new tournament record 38 points to go along with 10 rebounds.
Staci Humphrey
Humphrey led the Pride to 3-0 week and helped Greensboro to its second straight USAC undisputed title. She had 31 points and 11 rebounds in a 65-56 win over Peace. In battle of then first place teams, Humphrey scored 25 points and dished out eight assists in a 74-52 win over Christopher Newport. Against Shenandoah, she had 27 points, seven assists and seven steals.
Kristy Costa
Costa averaged 24 points, 6.3 rebounds and three steals in only 24 minutes a game for the Green Terror last week. In a 95-85 win over Franklin & Marshall, she finished with a career-high 34 points on 12-of-14 shooting from the field. She finished with a double-double (20 points and 10 rebounds) in a tough 64-61 road loss to No. 17 Muhlenberg. Costa capped the week with 18 points, four steals and three rebounds in 20 minutes in a 84-47 route of Washington College. On the week she shot 27-for-41 from the floor (65.9%) and 18-for-22 from the charity stripe (81.8%).
Danielle Gallagher
Gallagher, the AWCC Player of the Week, averaged 22.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and three steals in two games as the Blazers wrapped up their third straight conference regular-season title. She scored a career-high 31 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a 66-51 win at Trinity and followed that up with 14 points, 10 rebounds and five steals in a 54-41 defeat of Chatham.
