CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Mount Mercy, ranked 18th in the latest NAIA National Poll, jumped out to a 10-0 lead on the Kohawks and never trailed, as they snapped Coe College's winning-streak with a 79-59 win Saturday.
MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - Senior David Mataloni (Urbandale, Iowa/Urbandale) scored 14 points Wednesday, as Coe cruised by Linn County rival Cornell 66-52. Mataloni is the 15th player in school history with 1,000 points.

PELLA, Iowa - Central used a 17-2 run in the first half and held Coe without a field goal in the final 10:42 of an Iowa Conference game at Kuyper Fieldhouse Wednesday night, as the Dutch beat Coe 65-44.
DUBUQUE, Iowa - Dubuque jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first :50 Saturday, as they beat the Kohawks 70-58 in the Iowa Conference opener for the Spartans. The loss dropps Coe to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the Iowa Conference.
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Coe jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first 1:45, as they cruised to a 65-48 win over Loras Wednesday night at Eby Fieldhouse. Three Kohawks turned in career-highs for Coe, two with points and one with rebounds, in the victory.
CHICAGO, Ill. - The Kohawks got a season-high 25 points from junior David Mataloni (Urbandale, Iowa/Urbandale), but it wasn't enough in an 82-76 loss to the University of Chicago in Coe's final game in the windy city. A late 10-0 run by Maroons sealed the win for Chicago.
