November 16, 2024 Saturday: Big Ws for UWW, IWU No. 10 Illinois Wesleyan used its quickness to get past No. 12 Hope, while the fourth-ranked Warhawks won the Carollo-versus-Carroll battle. On the men's side, No. 7 Emory led No. 17 Guilford wire-to-wire while Illinois College and Houghton used stellar defense to rally past 2024 Tournament teams.

January 31, 2023 Illinois College breaks 74-year-old wins record The Blueboys won their 19th game, the most in the history of the program, as Steve Schweer's Illinois College men surpassed a record that was set back in 1948-49.
April 24, 2018 Schweer named head coach at Illinois College Steve Schweer, a former player at Illinois Wesleyan and experienced Division III assistant coach, succeeds two long-time coaches as head men's basketball coach at Illinois College.
