March 1, 2026 WestConn Men's Basketball Downs Keene State To Win LEC Championship Title DANBURY, Conn. - Senior guard Tayejon Lynch (Cambria Heights, N.Y.) had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Western Connecticut State University Wolves to an 84-68 win over the visiting Keene State College Owls in the 2026 Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Basketball Championship Finals this afternoon at Feldman Arena. Top-seeded WestConn improves to 21-6 with its fourth victory in a row, taking its sixth LEC title and its first since 2020. The Wolves, who lost at Keene State in the last three LEC Finals in New Hampshire, earn an automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. The No. 3-seeded Owls see their season end at 17-11.

December 30, 2025 WestConn Wins Men's Basketball Holiday Classic Title DANBURY, Conn. - Sophomore center Marcel Henry (Yonkers, N.Y.) scored 20 points, sinking nine of 13 shots from the floor, and added four rebounds to lead the Western Connecticut State University Wolves to a 73-65 victory over the visiting New Jersey City University Gothic Knights in the finals of the WestConn Men's Basketball Holiday Classic this afternoon at Feldman Arena. WestConn improves to 7-4 with its fourth win in a row and while the Gothic Knights lose for the first time in eight games. Muhlenberg downed Emmanuel, 77-67, in the consolation game prior to the finals. WestConn will host CCNY next on Friday at 1 p.m.
February 15, 2025 WestConn Men's Basketball Edges 21st-Ranked Keene State in Thriller DANBURY, Conn. - Senior forward Keeshawn Jones (Middletown, N.Y.) sank the game-winning shot from the stripe with two seconds remaining on the clock to lead the Western Connecticut State University men's basketball team to a thrilling 74-73 win over 21st-ranked Keene State College in a Little East Conference battle on Saturday afternoon at Feldman Arena. The win was the eighth in a row for the Wolves, whose last loss was a 110-62 setback against the Owls on January 16.
