Coach of the Year goes to Emily Garner who led Trinity (Conn.) to new heights.
March 11, 2023 Trinity Women's Basketball's Historic Season Comes To An End At Smith HARTFORD, Conn. - The visiting Trinity College Bantams fell victim to a cold shooting night in a 63-46 loss against the Smith College Pioneers in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship Tournament this evening at Ainsworth Gymnasium.  The No. 20-ranked Bantams' season finishes up with a program record 25 wins and just six losses and the team's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Quarters.  Trinity junior center Reilly Campbell (Wallingford, Conn.) had 12 points and junior guard Emma Wax (Pine Brook, N.J.) scored 10 points, while Ally Yamada came off the bench to score 21 of her game-high 23 points in the first half.  Smith will head down to Hartford for the NCAA Semifinals on Saturday, March 18 at Trinity's Oosting Gymnasium.  The Pioneers, ranked No. 4 nationally, improve to 30-1.

March 10, 2023 High five for New England Five New England teams advanced through the 2023 Tournament sectional semifinals, as Rhode Island College sank No. 10 Chicago, No. 4 Smith outlasted Mary Washington, No. 13 Babson took care of Marietta and both NESCAC teams won their Sweet 16 games on Friday night.
