August 12, 2016 Colby-Sawyer, Regis to reunite in GNAC Colby-Sawyer and Regis left the Commonwealth Coast Conference in 2011 and landed in two different New England conferences. Seven years later they will leave those conferences and reunite in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
February 18, 2016 PRIDE WRAP UP REGULAR SEASON WITH SENIOR NIGHT WIN The Regis College men’s basketball team ended their 2015-16 regular season with a 68-61 senior night victory over New England Collegiate Conference opponent Wheelock College on Thursday evening. Regis finishes the year with an 11-14, 8-8 NECC mark and the loss drops the Wildcats to 5-18, 3-12 NECC.
February 6, 2016 SPREAD OUT SCORING AIDS REGIS IN NECC WIN Led by 14 points off the bench from sophomore forward Jawaun Lewis (Jacksonville, Fla.), the Regis College men’s basketball team earned a 66-52 win over New England Collegiate Conference opponent Newbury College Saturday afternoon on Higgins Court. The victory moves the Pride to 9-13, 6-7 NECC and the loss drops the Nighthawks to 2-19, 1-11 NECC.
February 4, 2016 EFFICIENT SHOOTING HELPS PRIDE SINK MARINERS The Regis College men’s basketball team scored 91 points, their highest scoring output of the season, to defeat New England Collegiate Conference rival Mitchell College 91-79 Thursday evening on Higgins Court. The Pride move to 8-13, 5-7 NECC with the victory and the Mariners sink to 7-10, 5-5 NECC with the setback.
January 26, 2016 BALANCED SCORING AND STRONG SHOOTING HELP PRIDE END LOSING STREAK Jeff Tagger Jr. (Brockton, Mass.) chalked up nine points, seven rebounds and five assists as the Regis College men’s basketball team snapped a four game losing streak with a 74-57 victory over New England Collegiate Conference opponent Lesley University Tuesday evening on Higgins Court. With the victory, the Pride jump to 5-12, 2-6 NECC and the setback drops the Lynx to 4-15, 3-7 NECC.
