January 25, 2025 Men’s Basketball Wraps Up Weekend With an 83-78 Win Over New Paltz in Home SUNYAC Action PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's basketball team had three players in double figures in a close 83-78 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) win over New Paltz in Memorial Hall on Saturday evening. Senior guard Franklin Infante (East Rockaway, N.Y. / East Rockaway) had a strong performance with 18 points, four rebounds, two steals, and one assist.
January 24, 2025 Welch’s Career-High 29 Points Lifts Men’s Basketball Over Oneonta 86-72 PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - Junior guard Kareem Welch's (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Thomas Jefferson) career-high 29 points on an efficient 64.3% from the field, 75.0% from the free throw line, and 100.0% from the three-point line lifted the Plattsburgh State men's basketball team to an 86-72 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) win over Oneonta. Welch also had seven rebounds, three steals, and two assists.
January 18, 2025 Men’s Basketball Wins Close One at Home Against Oswego State, Winning 87-84 PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – After a strong first half that saw the Cardinals outscore the Lakers 51-30 thanks to seven three-pointers, the Lakers turned the script in the second half outscoring the Cardinals 54-36, but the Plattsburgh State men's basketball team held on for a close 87-84 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) win over Oswego State in Memorial Hall on Saturday evening. Senior guard Kevin Tabb (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Thomas Jefferson) paced the Cardinal offense with 21 points and also had five assists, five rebounds, and two steals.

January 11, 2025 Men’s Basketball Comes Up Just Short Against Buffalo State, Falling 78-75 BUFFALO, N.Y. – After trailing by as many as 11 points in the second half, the Plattsburgh State men's basketball team came within two points in the final minutes but couldn't score the tying basket and eventually fell 78-75 to Buffalo State on the road in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action. First-year guard/forward Nate Pondexter Jr. (Washington, D.C. / Archbishop Carroll) led the Cardinal offense with 18 points, eight rebounds, three steals, a block, and a steal in an all-around performance.
