February 11, 2023 Eastern Connecticut Remains Atop Little East WILLIMANTIC, Conn. -- The Eastern Connecticut State University women’s basketball team moved within a season-ending victory that would guaranteed it no worse than a share of its tenth Little East Conference regular-season title, leading wire-to-wire after scoring the first seven points of the game in a 71-42 victory over the University of Southern Maine Saturday at Francis E. Geissler Gymnasium.
February 8, 2023 Eastern Connecticut Upends RIC, Now Leads LEC WILLIMANTIC, Conn. – For the second time in as many years, the Eastern Connecticut State University women’s basketball team ended Rhode Island College’s hopes for a perfect Little East Conference season, scoring the first eight points of the second quarter to build an 18-point lead and going on to snap the Anchormen’s overall 18-game winning streak, 66-56, Wednesday evening at Francis E. Geissler Gymnasium.
