Keuka College Women’s Basketball Falls at Home to St. John Fisher

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Basketball team lost 106-29 to St. John Fisher University at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center on Tuesday night.

Killian Mahoney (Canandaigua, N.Y. / Canandaigua Academy) led Keuka College (3-16, 0-12 Empire 8) with 11 points. Katie Deatherage (Canandaigua, N.Y. / Marcus Whitman) added five points and five rebounds for the Wolves.

St. John Fisher University 106 at Keuka College 29

After the Cardinals made an opening three, Killian Mahoney hit one for the Wolves for the early tie. However, St. John Fisher would go on a 16-0 run. An offensive rebound and layup by Katie Deatherage ended the run, but the Cardinals would lead 30-8 after the first.

St. John Fisher controlled the second quarter. The Cardinals led 56-9 at the half.

Keuka College had its best quarter in the third. Killian Mahoney had five points and Katie Deatherage added three. The Green and Gold scored 12 in the frame but trailed 85-21. The Cardinals would see the game out in the fourth, defeating the Wolves 106-29.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves now embark on their final four road games of the season. Keuka College first plays at Utica University this Saturday. The Wolves and Pioneers played an extremely tight game earlier this season with Utica pulling out a three-point victory at Keuka College.
