Baruch Bounces Back, Dominate Boards to Defeat Lehman (64-39)

The Baruch College Bearcats defeated the Lightning of Lehman College, 64-39, in a CUNYAC home contest played on Wednesday night in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats dominated the boards, 67-33, which included a 33-10 margin in offensive rebounding.

The Lightning started the second half with a 3-pointer to get as close as 30-24, but Bearcats' defense limited the Lightning to 11 points scored in the final 16 minutes to improve to 7-0 in the CUNYAC.


Jessica Duleba (13 rebounds) and Sheridan Taylor(11 rebounds, 5 steals) each scored 14 points to record the double-double, while Francess Henryfinished with 11 points and six steals.

Alicea Ulmergrabbed 10 rebounds and Imani Davidsonhad six rebounds and points each.

Jennifer Navarro led the Lightning with 18 points, six rebounds and three assists in 38 minutes of action.

Baruch will return to action on Friday, January 18, with a 6:00 pm CUNYAC road contest at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn.
