LANGHORNE, PA - Going up against the highest scoring team in the conference, the Crimson Eagles were unable to slow down Centenary's explosive offense during a 92-65 loss to the Cyclones.

The visitors scalded the nets, hitting at a 56.1 percent field goal clip for the game en route to their second 90-plus point performance of the season.

Centenary had 12 players reach the scoring column while forcing the Crimson Eagles into 22 turnovers for the game, turning PBU's miscues into 31 free points.

The Cyclones also used 14 offensive rebounds and an impressive 15 for 18 effort from the charity strip to help roll to their seventh overall victory of the season.

Despite a more-than-respectable 47.6 shooting percentage from the floor as a squad in the opening period, the Crimson Eagles helplessly watched Centenary build up a 52-30 margin over the first 20 minutes of play as the Cyclones manufactured 14 more shots in the opening stanza alone.

The visitors ultimately held a 42-24 advantage in rebounds for the night and tamed the Crimson Eagles' hot hand in the second frame, limited the host group to a 32.4 percent shooting ratio over the final 20 minutes of play.

Second-year forward Hannah McCardle paced PBU with 12 points in 32 minutes of action while senior guard Careth Herron added 11 points and four helpers. Senior Lisa Garner, playing in her first contest after sitting out the opening semester, pumped in 10 points on five of eight shooting.

The Crimson Eagles will return to action on Thursday during a swing with the College of Notre Dame in the Mason Activity Center at 6:00 pm.
