La Plume, PA – Trailing by four points midway through the first half of Saturday afternoon's Colonial States Athletic Conference men's basketball game at Keystone College, third-ranked Cabrini College used a 15-0 run to take the lead and never trailed again while remaining unbeaten on the season with a 94-84 victory over the Giants.  The defending league champion Cavaliers move to an unblemished, 16-0 on the season including a 10-0 mark in conference play while Keystone falls to 7-9 overall and 4-5 in the CSAC.    
 
Keystone came out strong against the unbeaten Cavaliers in a rematch of last season's CSAC championship game and built a 17-11 lead just over five minutes into the game when Miles Dargan (Orlando, FL/Wekiva) connected on a jumper.  Cabrini tied the game at 19-19 at the 12:32 mark before back-to-back field goals by Deion Monroe (Kingston, NY/Kingston ) and Duncan Lunsford (Marietta, GA/Sprayberry) gave the Giants a 23-19 advantage with 11:36 remaining in the first half.  The Cavaliers then scored 15 unanswered points to build a 34-23 lead with 7:17 to play in the opening stanza.  Keystone narrowed their deficit to seven points on a Jesse Longmire (Harlem, NY/John S. Burke Catholic) layup at the 5:31 mark before the visitors rattled off seven straight points to claim a 43-29 lead and stretched their advantage to as many as 16 points before taking a 49-37 lead into the locker room at halftime.
 
Aaron Walton-Moss led all players with 18 points to go along with five rebounds and three assists in the opening 20 minutes of play while Matt Forrest added 11 points in the period for the Cavaliers, who shot 50 percent from the field in the first half including a 7-13 effort from three-point range while going just 4-10 from the free throw line.
 
Lunsford paced Keystone in the opening stanza with 16 points on a perfect, 7-7 half from the field while grabbing five boards.  Longmire chipped in eight points for the Giants, who connected on 45.2 percent of their attempts from the floor in the stanza while going 4-13 from beyond the arc and 5-6 from the charity stripe. 
 
Cabrini pushed their lead back to 16 points early in the second half before s 10-3 burst by Keystone narrowed host's deficit to 63-54 with 13:50.  The Cavaliers outscored the Giants 14-6 over the next five and a half minutes to hold a 77-60 lead with 8:12 left on the clock.  Keystone would not go down quietly though and trailed 89-80 with 1:19 to play after Dargan hit all three free throws after being fouled beyond the arc.  After a Cabrini field goal, Longmire followed a layup by hitting one of two free throws with 25 seconds remaining to make it an eight point game at 91-83, but Keystone was unable to come any closer as the Cavaliers pulled out the 10-point victory.
 
Moss led Cabrini with 27 points to go along with nine rebounds, seven assists, and four steals, Forrest netted 16 points, and Jon Miller collected a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds in the win.  Fran Rafferty added 13 points and nine boards for the Cavaliers, who held a 48-33 advantage on the glass for the game.  The visitors shot 53.6 percent from the field in the contest while going 9-19 (47.4 percent) from three-point land while struggling from the line, hitting on just 11-24 (45.8 percent) of the free throw shots.
 
Lunsford tied with most for a game-high with 27 points on 10-12 shooting including a solid 5-6 effort from beyond the arc to go along with seven rebounds.  Dargan added 16 points while Longmire tallied 15 points and tying for the team-lead with three assists.  Ben Holl (Philadelphia, PA/Friends Select School) came off the bench to contribute 10 points while DaVaughn Thomas (Port Arthur, TX/Silsbee) was Keystone's leading rebounder with eight boards and the freshman also dished out three helpers.  For the game, the Giants shot 41.5 percent from the field while going 12-36 (33.3 percent) from downtown and 18-24 (75 percent) from the stripe.
 
Keystone returns to the hardwood on Monday evening when they visit local rival Baptist Bible College for a CSAC contest scheduled to tipoff at 7:00 p.m. in Clarks Summit.
