Collegeville, Pa. – Marymount University's men's basketball team dropped its first game of the season with a 66-61 loss at Ursinus on Wednesday night. The Saints fall to 2-1 overall on the season.
Reed Scott posted his second double-double in as many games with a team-high 18 points to go with 12 rebounds while Antonio Rouse added 15 points for the Blue and White in the loss.
Both players shot over 50 percent from the field, with Scott going 9-for-15 and Rouse 6-for-10 including 3-for-5 from three-point range.
Marymount outshot Ursinus (1-2) from the floor and from downtown but struggled from the free throw line, converting just 3-of-13 attempts from the charity stripe.
Three Bears scored in double-figures with Trevor Norton and Malik Draper netting 13 each.
