DePauw finished an unbeaten season, set the Division III women's basketball record for wins in a season and won Walnut and Bronze for a second time, defeating UW-Whitewater 69-51 in the 2013 national title game.

Finishing an undefeated season may not be easy, but DePauw sure made it look that way. The Tigers took over the No. 1 ranking in the first week of the regular season poll and never looked back.

The night before, Mary Merg hit two buzzer-beaters for UW-Whitewater as the Warhawks rallied from a 12-point deficit in the final three minutes of regulation, while No. 1 DePauw kept its roll going by defeating Williams in the second semifinal to reach the title game as well on Friday night in Holland, Mich.

The Tigers tied a Division III record with their 33rd win of the season, matching the mark set by Capital in 1995 and Hope in 2006. DePauw and UW-Whitewater will face off at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday night.

Williams defeated Amherst 57-53 in the third-place game, led by 13 points and 12 rebounds from Danny Rainer and 12 points from Jennie Harding.
