November 29, 2022 Marr's 50-Point Performance Leads Sewanee Men's Basketball to Thrilling Overtime Win at Covenant LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The University of the South and Covenant College had two ballers with 50 points in the game, but it was Sewanee, led by Russ Marr's 50, who prevailed over Covenant in overtime, 108-100, Tuesday night inside Barnes PE Center. The win, not only matches last season's win total of six, but the Tigers have improved the win streak to five games.

February 15, 2020 Last Second Layup Gives Centre the Win over Sewanee Men’s Basketball in Regular Season Finale DANVILLE, Ky. - The Sewanee men’s basketball team could not finish a defensive possession as the seconds wound down in regulation, and thanks to a layup by Centre’s Jacob Bates, the Colonels downed the Tigers, 71-69, in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) regular season finale on Saturday at Alumni Gymnasium.
