January 11, 2022 Dutchmen Storm Back From Early Deficit to Knock Off Vassar SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Down by 16 points five minutes into the game, the Union College men's basketball team outscored Vassar College by 30 points the rest of the way as the Dutchmen handed the Brewers their first Liberty League loss of the year with an impressive 79-65 victory on Tuesday night at Viniar Athletic Center.

On the women's side Illinois Wesleyan tripped No. 18 Chicago and Southern Virginia got a big game from a different name in its opener.
November 25, 2018 Union Wins Sig Makofski Title over Westfield State to Remain Undefeated SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Junior Jackson Mannix netted a team-high 23 points to earn Most Valuable Player honors as the Union College men's basketball team captured the 34th annual Sig Makofski Invitational title with a 73-67 win over Westfield State University in a hard-fought battle on Sunday afternoon at Viniar Athletic Center.
