March 4, 2023 Triple take: Blues win in 3OT Whitman earned itself a good night’s rest and a place in NCAA Division III women’s basketball history with an 85-81 triple-overtime victory over UW-Eau Claire in the first round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament. For the 9th year, we are on air for many hours (at least nine this season) celebrating everything that is Division III basketball. January 21, 2023 Saturday women: Not standings still UW-Eau Claire won in overtime to stay on top of the WIAC standings but Ohio Northern stumbled into a first place tie in the OAC. Elsewhere, Tufts kept pace in the jumbled NESCAC and Stockton kept the NJAC race interesting.
November 12, 2022 Saturday women: Off to a flying start One night after setting the Division III women’s basketball single game scoring record, No. 1 Hope poured in 99 points in an impressive win over Illinois Wesleyan. Elsewhere, the WIAC completed a dominant weekend with wins by No. 4 UW-Whitewater, No. 13 UW-Eau Claire, UW-Stevens Point and UW-Oshkosh.
