Ben Pearce reached 2,000 career points as top seed Emory needed overtime to survive, while Hood ran past Redlands, Endicott survived at the buzzer, and much more in the second round.

Elsewhere, No. 1 Trinity survived its trip across town to St. Joseph, and the Ohio Wesleyan women topped John Carroll in their Top 25 showdown.
