March 14, 2023 D3hoops.com 2023 women's All-Region 3 team Rochester's Katie Titus made her lone season in Division III count, and she's our Region 3 Player of the Year. Rookie of the Year goes to Brielle Reidinger from nearby Nazareth and Melissa Turnover of Skidmore is our Coach of the Year.
March 3, 2023 Late rallies lift Skidmore, Oshkosh Skidmore rallied from a 13-point fourth quarter deficit to beat Johns Hopkins while UW-Oshkosh lost its 13-point lead but then came back to tip Washington & Lee. Elsewhere, Marietta won a thriller in Upstate New York, Wartburg ousted Baldwin Wallace, and the SUNYAC went 2-0 in Round 1 of the 2023 Division III women's basketball NCAA Tournament.
June 20, 2018 Thoroughbreds turn to Turner Former Castleton player and Middlebury assistant Jessica Turner is the new head coach at Skidmore, replacing Darren Bennett who took a job at Division I Boston U.
February 25, 2018 GOING DANCING! Skidmore defeats RIT to win Liberty League title A dominant defensive display by the Skidmore College women's basketball team was the difference as the Thoroughbreds won the Liberty League title after a 65-42 victory over RIT, in the 2018 Liberty League Championship game held at the Williamson Sports Center Sunday afternoon.
