January 15, 2025GLASSBORO, NJ - Taz Cantey scored a career-high 31 points, Khalif Meares scored 22 and Brycen Williams tallied a career-high 20 as Rowan defeated #25 Stockton (11-4; 6-2) in a fast-paced NJAC men's basketball contest. Rowan snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 8-7 (5-3 NJAC) with the win. -

December 18, 2024WASHINGTON, DC - Tyrese Myrick scored a season-high 22 points and Khalif Meares added 20 as Rowan men's basketball defeated #24 Catholic, 85-71, in the first round of the Tom McKavitt Classic. The Profs will play in the championship game on Thursday against #21 Saint John's (MN) in a 3 p.m. start. -

February 10, 2024NEWARK, NJ – Booty Butler’s jumper with :02 remaining gave Rowan a 69-67 win over Rutgers-Newark in NJAC men’s basketball action and extended the Profs’ winning streak to seven. Rowan improves to 19-5 and a conference-best 13-4. -
Rowan mourns loss of champion coach, player
May 22, 2023Demetrius Poles, who helped Rowan win the 1996 Division III national championship and then coached the Profs' women to two conference crowns, passed away on Saturday night. The two-time NJAC Coach of the Year was 50 years old. -

March 04, 2023GLASSBORO, NJ – Andrew Seager scored 23 points and Marcellus Ross had 18 as Rowan defeated Utica, 83-72, to advance to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship. The Profs will face Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Friday, March 10 in the sectional round at Mount Union with a game time of 4:45 p.m. -

February 24, 2023GLASSBORO, NJ – Marcellus Ross scored a game-high 24 points as top-seeded Rowan defeated second-seeded Stockton, 103-88, to win the 2023 NJAC Men's Basketball Championship in front of a sold-out crowd at Esby Gym. It is the Profs' second title since 2019 and the 12th all-time in the program's history. With the win, Rowan (22-5) earns the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. -

Rowan improves to 19-3 on the season and extends its winning streak to 11 games. -

February 01, 2023GLASSBORO, NJ – Andrew Seager and Ja'Zere Noel scored 19 points apiece as #25 Rowan (18-3) rolled to a 101-86 win over Rutgers-Camden, winning its 10th in a row and remaining unbeaten in the NJAC (14-0). It was Rowan's first test as a ranked team, as this week, the Profs earned the program's first appearance in the D3Hoops.com Top 25 since November of 2001. -

January 28, 2023MAHWAH, NJ – Rowan led from the opening tip and by double-digits for most of the game as it picked up a 97-66 win over Ramapo, in NJAC men’s basketball action. Marcellus Ross and Ja’Zere Ross had 17 points apiece to lead the Profs to their ninth straight win, as they improve to 17-3 and a perfect 13-0 in conference play. -

January 25, 2023GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan men's basketball put together a strong second half to defeat TCNJ, 83-65, at Esby Gym, while extending its winning streak to eight and improving to 12-0 in the NJAC. Ja'Zere Noel had 20 points, Josh Wright scored 17 and Marcellus Ross added 13 to lead the 16-3 Profs. -

January 07, 2023GLASSBORO, NJ - Josh Wright scored 19 points, Connor Dickerson had 18 and Damian Smith tallied 17 to lead the Rowan men's basketball team to an 87-70 win over Kean (13-1; 6-1), handing the visiting Cougars their first loss of the season and giving the Profs (11-3; 7-0 NJAC) sole possession of first place in the conference as the league's only undefeated team in NJAC play. -

December 17, 2022GLASSBORO, NJ -- Rowan powered its way past Salisbury, 106-92, on Saturday for its eighth-straight win. Andrew Seager tied a personal-best in scoring as he paced six players in double figures with a game-high 27 points. Ja'Zere Noel bucketed 24 points as the Profs led from start to finish to improve to 8-2 on the year. -

Azemi Scores 41 and Ties Record with 9 Threes as Rowan Defeats Marymount, 119-108
November 17, 2021GLASSBORO, NJ – Arian Azemi scored 41 points and tied the school record for three-pointers in a game by making nine in the first half, as Rowan (3-0) defeated Marymount, 119-108, in men's basketball action. A large and enthusiastic crowd marked the return of the Profs to Esby Gym for the first time since February 19, 2019, as the pandemic canceled the 2020-21 season. -

March 11, 2019It was an NJAC kind of year in the Atlantic Region, which Sam Toney taking home individual honors. The Coach of the Year award stayed in the conference as well, while the Rookie of the Year was in the Skyline.
