February 24, 2020 Smith retires as Principia women's basketball coach After serving Principia for four years as the head women's basketball coach, Dory Smith has announced her retirement.
September 16, 2016 Principia suspends women's program Citing the lack of a coach, lack of student interest and lack of prospects for success, Principia College announced that it is suspending its women's basketball program. The Panthers went 4-19, 4-14 in the SLIAC last season.
