July 20, 2015 NWU gives up NAIA status, will join IIAC Nebraska Wesleyan, the lone remaining dual member of the NAIA and NCAA Division III, is giving up its NAIA affiliation effective July 2016 and joining the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference that fall.
