January 29, 2020 Chatziveroglou Leads MIT Past Clark in 90-84 Overtime Final Led by a career-high 26-point, 13-rebound double-double from sophomore Giannis Chatziveroglou (Athens, Greece), the MIT men’s basketball team pulled out a 90-84 NEWMAC victory over Clark University on Wednesday evening at Rockwell Cage. MIT led by 13 in the second half before the Cougars eventually forced overtime.
January 11, 2020 MIT Uses 30-Point Effort From Hinkley to Down Coast Guard, 76-60 Led by three players in double figures, the MIT men’s basketball team pulled away for a 76-60 home win over the U.S. Coast Guard Academy on Saturday afternoon.
December 7, 2019 MIT Rallies Past Fitchburg State for 80-75 Road Victory Led by 29 points from junior Ian Hinkley (Raleigh, N.C.), the MIT men’s basketball team rallied from a 13-point first-half deficit and picked up an 80-75 non-conference road win at Fitchburg State on Saturday afternoon.
December 5, 2019 Hinkley Paces MIT to 88-58 Home Win Over Salem State Led by a 26-point, 17-rebound double-double from junior Ian Hinkley (Raleigh, N.C.), the MIT men’s basketball team picked up its second straight win with an 88-58 home victory over Salem State University on Thursday night.
November 23, 2019 Anderson Notches 400th Career Win as MIT Defeats Lasell, 84-70 With an 84-70 road win over Lasell University, MIT men’s basketball head coach Larry Anderson earned his 400th career win on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action. The victory was the third straight for the Engineers, who are now 3-2 overall.
