January 31, 2023 Illinois College breaks 74-year-old wins record The Blueboys won their 19th game, the most in the history of the program, as Steve Schweer's Illinois College men surpassed a record that was set back in 1948-49.
April 24, 2018 Schweer named head coach at Illinois College Steve Schweer, a former player at Illinois Wesleyan and experienced Division III assistant coach, succeeds two long-time coaches as head men's basketball coach at Illinois College.
February 18, 2018 Worrell announces retirement from Illinois College Illinois College head men's basketball coach Mike Worrell has announced his retirement after 22 seasons and more than 500 games in charge of the Blueboys.
