February 11, 2012 Diplomats Win Fifth Straight An early first half run gave Franklin & Marshall a comfortable lead en route to a 64-47 victory over Swarthmore in Centennial Conference (CC) women’s basketball action Saturday afternoon. The Diplomats (17-6, 13-4 CC) extended their win streak to five games while the Garnet (8-14, 6-12 CC) dropped their fifth in a row.
February 8, 2012 Diplomats Shoot Down Bullets Colleen Bott hit a pair of free-throws late in the second half to lift Franklin & Marshall over Gettysburg 51-48 in Centennial Conference (CC) women’s basketball action on Wednesday night. The Diplomats (16-6, 13-4 CC) swept the series between the two squads and have won four straight, while the Bullets (11-11, 9-8 CC) fall for the third game in a row.
February 4, 2012 Diplomats Get Even WIth Mules Megan Pauley scored 13 of her team-high 20 points in the second half, nine of which came in the last four minutes, to lift Franklin & Marshall over Muhlenberg, 59-54, in Centennial Conference (CC) women's basketball action Saturday. The Diplomats improved to 15-6, 12-4 (CC) and now take over sole possession of second place in the CC, while the Mules fell to 15-5, 10-5 (CC).
January 30, 2012 Barbush Paces Diplomats Past Shorewomen Alexa Barbush paced Franklin & Marshall with a game-high 25 points en route to a 70-56 victory over Washington College in Centennial Conference (CC) women’s basketball action Monday night. The Diplomats improved to 14-6, 11-4 CC while the Shorewomen fell to 11-8, 6-8 CC losing their third consecutive game.
January 28, 2012 F&M Sweeps Fords Balanced scoring across the board led the Franklin & Marshall women’s basketball team over Haverford, 64-51, in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday afternoon. The Diplomats swept the series and improved to 13-6, 10-4 CC while the Ford’s fell to 13-6, 8-6 CC.
January 25, 2012 Blue Jays Top Diplomats Johns Hopkins used a late run in the final four minutes to knock off Franklin & Marshall, 57-46, in Centennial Conference (CC) women's basketball action Wednesday at the Mayser Center. The Blue Jays improved to 16-2, 11-2 CC while the Diplomats fell to 12-6, 9-4 CC.
