    Fitchburg State's Kewan Platt decked a Nichols men's basketball player during last night's loss to the Bison. He was subsequently ejected, and now the school has barred him from campus. See the video here.

    Jim Todd, who played at Fitchburg State and coached the Salem State men's team through the 1995-96 season, was named head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers. He replaces ex-Boston Celtics star Chris Ford, who was fired.
