January 21, 2023 Strand's eighth double-double lifts Chapman over Caltech The Chapman University women's basketball team picked up its second win in a row with a 72-61 victory over visiting Caltech on Saturday. Julia Strand recorded her eighth double-double of the year and three more players scored in double figures to key the win.
November 11, 2022 Chapman runs past Macalester in opener Julia Strand and Mia Yamamoto combined for 40 points as the Chapman University women's basketball team opened the 2022-23 season with a decisive 78-45 win over visiting Macalester. The Panthers forced 25 turnovers to key the easy victory.

The Panthers (6-1, 3-1 SCIAC) rebounded from a tough road loss to close out the early SCIAC season with a win.
