June 20, 2018 Thoroughbreds turn to Turner Former Castleton player and Middlebury assistant Jessica Turner is the new head coach at Skidmore, replacing Darren Bennett who took a job at Division I Boston U.
May 4, 2017 Little East gets a little bigger Castleton will join the Little East in 18 sports, including men's and women's basketball in 2018-19. The Spartans currently compete in the NAC, which will also lose Colby-Sawyer to the GNAC that same season.
February 27, 2016 Castleton Edged by Husson for NAC Title The Spartans trailed by 15 points after the first quarter but cut the deficit to two points in the fourth quarter before ultimately falling to Husson 58-49 in the North Atlantic Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon.
February 26, 2016 Spartans Advance to NAC Championship Game Castleton stretched its lead as high as 19 points early in the fourth quarter and held off a late Maine Maritime rally to advance to its eighth straight NAC Title game with a 69-55 victory on Friday afternoon.
