Schipfer scored 8 points during the first quarter as the teams were tied at 14 during the final minute of the period, but Wittenberg's Taryn Cash sank a 3-pointer to give the Tigers a 17-14 lead. Wittenberg would lead throughout the second quarter, which ended with the Bishops trailing, 34-30.
Sophomore post Macy Miller opened the third quarter with back-to-back buckets to even the score at 34, but Riane Burton answered with a jumper for Wittenberg.
Ohio Wesleyan then went on a 14-0 run, with fifth-year guard Lauren Denison knocking down a 3-pointer to put the Bishops ahead to stay, Miller contributing a pair of hoops, and fifth-year point guard Elizabeth Homan adding a lay-in and a 3-pointer.
Schipfer took over from there, scoring 13 points during the fourth period alone as the Bishops closed out the win.
