Tigers Top Terriers for Fourth Straight Win

Hiram, Ohio - DePauw never trailed and moved to 8-4 overall and 2-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference with an 81-42 win at Hiram. The Terriers dropped to 7-6 overall and 0-2 in conference play.

DePauw scored the game's first seven points and held a 22-13 lead after the opening period. A 10-0 DePauw run to start the second extended the margin to 19 points as the Tigers took a 40-19 advantage into the intermission.

The Tigers scored the first five of the second half and Hiram got no closer than 20 the rest of the way.

Olivia Hart scored a career-high 16 points, while Ava Hassel followed with 14 points and five steals to move her career total to 1,006 points. Moira McGinley chipped in 13 and four assists with Riley Mont adding 11. Ainsley Boras led DePauw with nine rebounds.

Ava Mory paced Hiram with 15 points with Brooke Hickman adding 12. Mory, Hickman and Maya Joiner each grabbed four rebounds. Diara Parsons and Anastasia Lawler each dished out three assists.

The Tigers shot 51.6 percent from the field to Hiram's 36.2 percent and DePauw held a 38-22 rebounding.

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 11, when it hosts Oberlin at 3 p.m.
