Women's Basketball Win Streak Increases to 16 in, 75-46, Win vs. Keene State

Providence, R.I.--Graduate guard Sophia Guerrier (Waltham, Mass.) recorded a game-high 14 points and grabbed six rebounds as the No. 3-ranked Rhode Island College women's basketball team defeated Keene State, 75-46, in a Little East contest played at The Murray Center on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• A back and forth first quarter saw the Anchorwomen go 3-for-7 from three-point range to take an 18-13 lead after the first 10 minutes.
 
• The second quarter saw the Owls go toe-to-toe with the nationally-ranked Anchorwomen as freshman guard Brynn Rautiola (Rindge, N.H.) knocked down a pair of three-pointers to pull KSC within six, 34-28, at halftime.
 
• The Anchorwomen began the third quarter on a 12-0 run, thanks to a couple three-pointers by Guerrier. They would outscore the Owls, 27-8, in the third frame to take a 61-36 lead into the fourth quarter.
 
• The RIC lead proved to be insurmountable for KSC as the Anchorwomen improved their win streak to 16 games, which is one shy of the program record (17) established by the 2011-12 edition.
 
• Junior forward Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale, N.H.) finished with 13 points and six rebounds. Fifth-year guard Jeniyah Jones (Randolph, Mass.) racked up 11 rebounds, six assists, four points and three steals in the win.
