BIDDEFORD, Maine -- The University of New England had four players in double figures and led from start-to-finish in a 72-54 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's basketball victory over Wentworth Institute of Technology on Coach Beaudry's Court inside the Harold Alfond Forum Wednesday evening (Feb. 1).

Juliana Tracey paced the hosts with 19 points and five assists, matching her season-high in scoring from the last time UNE faced WIT. Faye Veilleux notched 16 points, six rebounds, and six steals, while Keagan Dunbar went for 15 points and five boards. Grace Boucher contributed a personal-best 11 points.

The Nor'easters (14-6, 10-3 CCC) maintain their one-game cushion on second place in the league standings, with Salve Regina University (8-5 CCC) set to visit on Saturday (1 p.m.).

UNE outscored the Leopards by 21 from behind the arc (27-6), and tallied 30 points off 26 Wentworth turnovers.

A three-point play by Tracey had the Nor'easters with an 11-2 lead early on, and it was 24-13 in the 2nd when Tracey connected for three triples in a span of 1:49 -- around a jumper by Veilleux -- to vault the advantage up to 35-13 with 3:05 left before the half. The margin eventually reached 29 (70-41) in the final frame.

For the Leopards (4-16, 0-13), Maddy Foster totaled 20 points with nine caroms. Abriana Busbey added 12 points and five rebounds. WIT made 13-of-21 field goals in the second half to wind up at 47.6 percent on the night (20-for 42).
