How it Happened
- Williams jumped out in front early, connecting back-to-back 3-pointers from Devin Biesbrock and Ryann Taylor in the first minute of the game. Hood answered with baskets by Wright and Newson, tying the game at 6-6 with 7:29 minutes left in the first period.
- The Blazers took their first lead of the game, on a Manning driving layup plus a foul shot, to give Hood an 11-8 lead with 4:34 left in the first.
- The Ephs scored the final six points of the quarter, including a Maddy Mandyck layup at the buzzer to make 14-11.
- William scored the first eight points of the second period, totaling a 14-0 run that started in the first period, for a 22-11 lead with 6:04 in the second.
- Philippa Clouse made a layup with 3:49 left in the second period to pull the Blazers within eight before trailing 33-24 at halftime. .
- Williams opened the third period on a 6-0 run that was capped off by a Mandyck layup, giving the Ephs their biggest lead of the game 41-24 with 5:50 left.
