  • Wright recorded a team high 14 points, shooting 6-for-13 from the field. The senior also grabbed five rebounds, had three steals and dished out four assists.

How it Happened

  • The Blazers opened the game with five straight points from Stanford in the first minute. Lancaster Bible's Mikayla Via and Jenna Dombach hit back-to-back  3-pointers to take its first lead of the game 8-5 with 7:43 left in the first period.
  • Hood answered going on a 14-2 run to end the first period, the run was guided by Snoop Robinson and Stanford who combined for eight points over a seven-minute span to take a 19-10 lead going into the second period.
  • A lay-up by Manning with 4:55 left in the second period, gave Hood its biggest lead of the game to that point at 30-16. LBC' scored the final five points to cut it to  30-21 going into halftime.
  • LBC started the third period on a 10-2 run that ended with a Via driving lay-up to pull the Chargers within four, 35-31 with 3:57 left. 
  • The Blazers put together a run of their own, outscoring LBC 8-2 in the final three minutes of the third period, to push the lead back to 43-33 heading into the final period. 
  • Hood used a 10-2 run to gather its largest lead of the game 57-39. LBC never got within 14 points the rest of the way . 

Analysis

  • Hood held a 13-4 advantage in steals over the Chargers.
  • The Blazers edged LBC in rebounds 40-36.
  • Hood's bench contributed 24 points to the Chargers three.

For the Opponent

  • Were recorded a double-double with 12 points and 16 rebounds to lead LBC.
  • Via had a team-high 14 points, while Sydney Heller ended her afternoon with 11.

  • Hood improved to 4-6, while LBC falls to 6-2.
